We know the textile supply chain environmental and social impacts, which is why we nurture long-term partnerships with our suppliers and manufacturers.  Transparency is our key focus as it allows us to monitor the health and safety of people and planet. By visiting our factories, working with auditors and developing improvement plans we are working to create positive outcomes.  

All factories are BSCI or SLCP certified, with independent social audits confirming compliance with country-specific minimum wage requirements.

Modibodi staff visit the factories each year to support our factories to build knowledge and continuously improve.

AUDITING AND MONITORING

We work only with suppliers that meet globally recognised standards, including BSCI for social compliance, OEKO‑TEX for chemical safety, RWS for all wool, GOTS for organic cotton, and GRS for recycled materials. These certifications ensure traceability, responsible sourcing, and safe working conditions across our supply chain.

We support our suppliers through continuous‑improvement programs focused on:

• Working hours — reducing excessive overtime and promoting safe, fair schedules.
• Living wages — encouraging wage structures that support a dignified standard of living.
• Water efficiency — reducing water use and improving wastewater treatment.

For our lovely customers this means products made with verified materials, backed by transparent and internationally recognised standards.
