Domestic and family violence is the principal cause of homelessness for women and their children in the western world. There are 1000s of women and children living in shelters across Australia and the UK with many having little money and cannot afford feminine hygiene, and so are forced to protect themselves from their monthly period and bladder weakness with bits of newspaper or bulky rags.
Modibodi’s GIVE A PAIR Program aims to provide these women with Modibodi underwear that is sustainable and reusable and to empower them at the times they need it. By purchasing ‘virtual pairs’ of underwear, Modibodi will donate underwear to women’s shelter across Australia, the US and UK throughout the year on your behalf.
Modibodi have pledge PAIR FOR PAIR which means for every pair you purchase, we will donate another pair to a woman in need. That's 2 pairs of Modibodi leak proof and period proof underwear for each donation!
