Almost amazing
I really wish ModiBodi included a clear diagram of how much of the underwear is covered by the absorbent part. I was hoping to get ones where the back went all the way up to the waist band, so I could sleep in them, and I thought that's what I was buying from the pictures. They aren't. The absorbent part only covers the gusset of the underwear (didn't even cover half of my butt-crack), and the rest is a thin, stretchy material. So I didn't trust it not to leak all over my sheets while I rolled around in bed. Super disappointing that they've made it difficult to choose the right product online, when the packaging shows clearly where is covered.
For daytime wear, these were brilliant. Never felt like I needed a pad, even on my heavy days. If you have a viscous flow there can be some blood that doesn't absorb fully, but I never leaked, never smelled and was super comfy. On the boyshorts, the absorbent pad area between your legs (from thigh to thigh) is quite wide, at least for me, but the added bulk didn't feel strange after I wore them for a few moments. And the absorbent padded area is a lot thicker than other brands I've owned, but I liked that, it made me feel more secure. And thankfully it made zero noise. No more weird plastic rustling.
I might have needed to size up, as the waist band dug in a little, and the underwear material was a little tight, but they wore in pretty quickly, and I was comfy after the first 15-20 mins in them. I've only worn them once, so I can't…
