Modibodi, Bare your Derriere for the McGrath Foundation

It's cheeky, it's daring and it's making a difference in womens lives.

In support of our partnership with McGrath Foundation, Modibodi are daring all women to Bare your Derriere and help raise money for McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who aim to make life that little bit easier for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer right across Australia.

This month, we want women to be brave, by purchasing a pair of Modibodi Sensual Boyleg in Rose Pink, taking a photo of a section of their bottom in their rose pink Modibodi underwear and posting to their social pages with the message “I dared to bare my derriere for breast cancer’" with hashtags #modibodi #bareyourderriere. In doing so, Modibodi will donate 100% of the profits to the McGrath Foundation.

The goal is to fundraise $10,000 which equates to providing support to 10 families through their breast cancer journey. For those who don’t want to showcase their fabulously empowering knickers on social media, Modibodi will still donate 15% of total sale directly to the McGrath Foundation for every person who purchases Modibodi’s Sensual Boyleg, Rose Pink during the month of February.

“Modibodi’s mission is to empower women. We have chosen to partner with the McGrath Foundation as they too are committed to this, by offering support to women and their families during the breast cancer journey.

While the campaign is definitely a little cheeky, we are not asking women to go out and expose themselves. We just hope that by sharing a photo of a little section of their booty women can embrace body confidence while at the same time raising money for a great cause.” Kristy Chong, Founder, Modibodi.

The McGrath Foundation raises money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and to make breast health understanding a priority. McGrath Breast Care Nurses provide invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support. From the time of diagnosis, and right throughout treatment, this support is available right across Australia – for free. With an increase in the number of people living with a diagnosis, Modibodi aims to support McGrath Foundation in making Jane McGrath’s vision a reality - to ensure everyone experiencing breast cancer has access to a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

“The McGrath Foundation greatly appreciates the support of corporate partners like Modibodi,” said McGrath Foundation CEO, Petra Buchanan. “We rely on the generosity of businesses and people to fund our McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who provide a vital service to families experiencing breast cancer.”

Australian designed Modibodi™ underwear is a world first innovation in the fashion industry and is fusing form, function and fashion to make women’s underwear better! Founder and Director Kristy Chong launched Modibodi with their patented Modifier Technology ™underpants which were designed and developed in Australia. The exclusive technology works to wick moisture away from the body, absorb the moisture to keep the wearer dry, and is stain resistant, leak resistant and antimicrobial to ensure the ultimate freshness. The garments look, fit and feel just like regular underwear.

Made from bamboo, the Sensual Boyleg is a hip hugging glamorous, comfortable, convenient and reliable way to ensure everyday protection. They are everyday undies, but with serious confidence boosting benefits and a touch of lace.

These are not just your regular pair of underwear, there is power behind the purchase and as you feel confident wearing them, you can also be confident that your purchase has made an invaluable difference to the life of someone else.
